Delete your account
Request deletion from Profile → Settings, what the 14-day cooldown does and how to cancel it, what gets erased and what Falix keeps, and how to download a copy of your data first.
Deleting your Falix account is self-service: a dialog on your Settings page, a 14-day cooldown during which signing in cancels the request, and then everything you made is erased. This guide walks the whole thing — including the two things worth doing before you press the button, because once the cooldown ends there is no undo.

Before you delete
- Download anything you want to keep from your servers. Server files are not part of the data export below. Use the File Manager or SFTP — or download a backup.
- Sort out paid servers first. A pending deletion changes nothing about billing: a renewal that falls inside the 14 days is still charged, and when the account is erased every server is cancelled on the spot without credit. If you're inside a refund window, use it before you delete — see Cancelling and refunds.
- Download your data if you want a record of your account (next section).
⚠️ Heads up: Deletion is for the whole account. If you only want rid of one server, delete it from its Settings → Danger tab instead.
Download your data first
On Profile → Settings there's a Your data group with Download your data. It gives you a ZIP of the personal data Falix holds about your account:
| Included |
|
| Account |
Your profile details and settings |
| Sign-ins |
Your login history |
| Activity |
What you did in the panel, as readable entries |
| Billing |
Subscriptions, invoices and payments |
| Support |
Your tickets and their attachments |
| Felix chats |
Your conversations with the AI assistant |
| Servers |
Your servers' details (not their files) |
| Connections |
Linked accounts and services |
How it works:
- Press Request a copy, confirm with your 2FA code or passkey, and press Email me a link.
- Open the email and press Start export. The link works for one hour, and it shows the device and country that asked — if that wasn't you, press Cancel request and change your password.
- The row shows Preparing, then Ready with the file size and an "Available until" date. Press Download while signed in.
The copy stays downloadable for 7 days, and you can request a new one every 7 days. The delete dialog has a "Want a copy first? Download your data" link that jumps straight here.
Delete the account
- Open Profile → Settings and scroll to Danger zone → Delete this account. Press Delete account.
- Read the two notices in the dialog: the 14-day cooldown (you can cancel by logging back in) and the warning that all your data, servers and settings go after it.
- Type YES in the confirmation box — exactly that, in capitals.
- If two-factor is on, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator (or confirm with your passkey).
- Press Delete account. You're signed out immediately and sent to the Falix homepage.
That's the request filed. Nothing is erased yet.
The 14-day cooldown
| When |
What's true |
| Day 0 |
Request filed; you're signed out. Servers keep running and billing keeps billing |
| Days 1–14 |
Signing in with any method cancels the request. The panel tells you: "Your account deletion request has been automatically cancelled because you logged in" |
| After day 14 |
Your account joins the deletion queue and is erased. There's no recovery after this |
Cancelled by mistake? Just file a new request — there's no limit, but only one can be pending at a time.
🎯 Good to know: Because signing in cancels the deletion, you can't download your data during the cooldown. Download first, then delete — or sign in (which cancels), download, and request deletion again.
What is erased, and what Falix keeps
Erased when the request comes due:
- Every server you own — stopped, cancelled and removed, with its files and the backups stored on Falix. (Free-plan backups in your own Google Drive are in your Drive; Falix doesn't touch them.)
- The account itself and everything you made or set up: support tickets and Felix chats, API keys and sessions, subdomains and custom domains, webhooks, connected accounts and their tokens, notifications.
- Any data-export copies still on Falix's storage.
- Your activity and file-change history is stripped of IP addresses and browser details.
Kept, as the Privacy Notice and User Agreement describe:
- Invoices and payment records (tax law requires it).
- The deletion request itself, with its IP address removed.
- Records that account for the servers that existed, and abuse or enforcement records.
- Forum posts stay up, shown as written by "Deleted user".
Staff accounts and accounts with live virtual machines are set aside for a person to handle rather than erased automatically.
Verify it worked
- Cancelled it? You're signed in and the cancellation message appeared — the request is gone. Profile → Activity records both the request and the cancellation.
- Let it run? After day 14, signing in fails: the account no longer exists.
Troubleshooting
- "You already have a pending deletion request scheduled for …" — you've asked once already. Sign in (that cancels it) and request again if you meant a different date.
- "Please type YES to confirm deletion" — it has to be exactly
YES, capitals, nothing else.
- "Please enter a valid 6-digit 2FA code" — use the current code from your app; after 5 wrong tries in 5 minutes you wait before trying again. Lost your authenticator? Use a recovery code — see Securing your account.
- I was charged after requesting deletion — a renewal fell inside the cooldown; deletion doesn't cancel subscriptions until the account is erased. Cancel the server first, see Cancelling and refunds.
- It's been more than 14 days and I can still sign in — signing in is exactly what cancels the request. If you want it gone, don't sign in; the queue erases due accounts in order.
- I changed my mind after it was erased — nothing can be restored. Create a new account.
