How do server backups work?
Create backups from the Backups page (or via the File Manager's .backups folder). Each backup is a snapshot of your server files — give it a custom name or use an automatic timestamp, and lock important backups so they can't be deleted by accident. You can create up to 2 backups every 10 minutes.
How many backups can I keep?
Your number of backup slots depends on your plan — premium plans include many more than free. When you reach your limit, the oldest unlocked backup is removed to make room for a new one, so lock the backups you want to keep.
How do I restore a backup?
There are several options: Full Restore replaces your whole server (optionally deleting existing files first), Selective Restore restores only chosen files, Copy to Server places backup files at a location you pick, and Quick Restore walks you through it from the File Manager. Stop your server before restoring.
What are automatic backups?
You can enable automatic backups that run on a schedule, with a configurable frequency that defaults to every 24 hours. Combined with manual backups before risky changes, this gives you ongoing protection against data loss. Auto-backups count toward your backup slots.
Can I transfer a backup to another server?
Yes — open a backup and choose Transfer to move it to another server you own. The backup must be unlocked, you must own both servers, the destination must have a free backup slot, and the destination can't be in storage mode.
How do I download or delete a backup?
Select a backup and choose Download to get a time-limited link to the archive. You can also lock/unlock backups to protect them and delete one or more — locked backups can't be deleted or auto-removed when you hit your slot limit.
