How do I set up a free subdomain?
Go to your server's Subdomains page, click Add Subdomain, select Falix Subdomain, enter a name (1–20 lowercase characters/numbers/hyphens), choose a suffix, select the server allocation, and click Create. Each server gets up to 3 free subdomains (1 primary + 2 additional).
What domain suffixes are available?
Six free Falix suffixes: falixsrv.me, falix.gg, falix.me, falix.dev, falix.app, and falix.pro. Subdomain names must be 1–20 characters, start and end with a letter or number, contain no consecutive hyphens, cannot resemble IP addresses, and must be unique across all Falix servers.
Can I use my own custom domain?
Yes. Click Add Subdomain, choose Custom Domain, and enter your domain (e.g., play.example.com). Add two NS records at your domain registrar pointing to the Falix nameservers shown in the setup wizard. Click Verify — DNS propagation takes minutes to 48 hours. Custom domains are free and unlimited.
How do I set up DNS for custom domains?
At your registrar, add two NS records. For Cloudflare: DNS → Records → add NS records. For Namecheap: Domain List → Manage → Custom DNS. For GoDaddy: My Products → DNS → Nameservers → Enter my own. For Squarespace: DNS Settings → Custom nameservers. Falix automatically creates A and SRV records after verification.
How do I change my primary subdomain?
Click Make Primary on any secondary subdomain to promote it. The previous primary becomes a secondary. You can also edit a subdomain by clicking the edit button to change its name or suffix, then clicking Update. The primary subdomain cannot be deleted — switch to another one first.
What are A and SRV records?
An A record translates your domain name to an IP address so computers can find your server. An SRV record tells Minecraft which port to use, so players don't need to type the port number. Instead of sharing 79.127.224.176:25832, players can connect with just myserver.falix.gg.
