The File Manager lets you browse, edit, upload, download, and delete files. Navigate folders by clicking them, use breadcrumbs for quick directory navigation, and use the toolbar for actions like creating files/folders or uploading. Files display their name, type, size, and last modified date.
How do I edit a configuration file?
Click any text file (.yml, .json, .properties, .txt, .cfg) to open it in the built-in code editor with syntax highlighting for JavaScript, Python, JSON, YAML, SQL, and more. Make your changes and click Save. Most configuration changes require a server restart to take effect.
How do I upload files?
Use the Upload button to select files, drag-and-drop files into the file manager, or upload entire folders. Maximum file size is 10 GB with up to 1,000 files per upload. Supported archive formats (.zip, .rar, .7z, .tar, .gz) can be extracted after uploading. For large or bulk transfers, consider using SFTP instead.
Can I browse archives without extracting?
Yes — click any archive file (.zip, .rar, .7z, .tar, .gz) to browse its contents without extracting. This lets you preview what is inside before deciding to extract. You can also create archives from selected files using the mass action toolbar after selecting multiple files.
What keyboard shortcuts are available?
Ctrl+F to search files (premium), Ctrl+A to select all, Ctrl+U to upload, Ctrl+N for new folder, Ctrl+R to refresh, Delete to remove selected, Backspace to go to parent directory, Arrow keys to navigate, and Enter to open. Escape closes dialogs.
What happens when I delete files?
Premium users have a Recycle Bin that keeps deleted files recoverable. Free users' deletions are permanent. You can select multiple files using checkboxes or Ctrl+A and perform bulk delete, download as zip, archive, move, or change permissions through the floating mass action toolbar.
