What server settings can I change?
The Settings page is organized into tabs: General (rename your server and adjust preferences), Startup (startup command, stop command, and done message), Crash Detection, Environment (image and Java version), Operations (Switch Application, resource changes, transfer/clone), and Danger Zone (reinstall and delete).
How do I switch my server application?
Go to Settings → Operations → Switch Application, choose your desired game or application, and confirm. This reinstalls the server — your existing files stay on disk but will likely not be compatible with the new software. Free plans can switch between the free-tier games (Minecraft, Hytale, Terraria, and Factorio); premium unlocks the full catalog.
How do I reinstall my server?
Go to Settings → Danger Zone → Reinstall. You can optionally tick Delete all files before reinstalling for a completely clean start; without it, your files are kept while the install script re-runs. There is also a Create a backup before reinstalling option, enabled by default. Reinstalling cannot be undone.
How do I change my Java version?
Open Settings → Environment and pick from the Java Version dropdown. Match it to your Minecraft version — newer versions need newer Java. Variants are grouped as Standard, OpenJ9 (lower memory use), and GraalVM (performance-focused). A built-in Java guide explains which to use.
How do I rename my server?
Go to the General tab and edit the server name (3–20 characters; letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens, and underscores). The name shows on your dashboard and is separate from your subdomain — renaming does not change how players connect. To change the connection address, use the Subdomains page instead.
Can I delete my server?
Go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Server. This permanently removes all server files, databases, backups, and schedules. Type the exact server name to confirm, and if you have 2FA enabled you will enter your authentication code (or passkey). Only the server owner (or an admin) can delete a server — sub-users cannot.
