How do I manage my server worlds?
The Worlds page lists every world on your server as a row showing the world name, edition badge (Java or Bedrock), and its folder path. Your active world is marked with a Primary label. Worlds are re-scanned from your server each time the page loads; use the refresh button in the top-right to rescan after you upload, rename, or delete a world. Each world has quick actions for Settings, Files, Download, and a "more" menu with Rename, Datapacks, and (for non-primary worlds) Delete.
How do I upload a world?
Open the Upload World menu. Folder Upload sends a complete world folder, and Archive Upload accepts
.zip, .rar, and .7z archives. On Bedrock servers an extra .mcworld option appears for importing Bedrock world exports. Make sure the world was created on a compatible Minecraft version, then refresh the page to see it listed. How do I generate a new world?
On Java servers, click Generate New World. You can set the world name and an optional seed, choose the world type (Default, Flat, Large Biomes, or Amplified), toggle structure generation, and pick the game mode, difficulty, spawn-protection radius, and world-border size, plus optional advanced generator settings. The dashboard temporarily writes these to
server.properties, starts the server briefly to build the world, then stops it. You will be prompted to back up first, since this changes your current settings. How do I switch the primary world?
Click the Make Primary (star) action on any non-primary world. This updates the
level-name value in server.properties so your server loads that world on the next start. The previously primary world becomes a regular world. A restart is needed for the change to take effect, but you do not need to edit any files yourself. How do I delete a world?
Open a non-primary world's "more" menu and choose Delete; to confirm a single world you type its exact world name (a multi-select mass delete asks you to type DELETE instead). The primary world has no Delete option — make another world primary first. Note that a normal delete removes only that world's folder; matching
_nether and _the_end dimension folders are not removed automatically, so delete those separately if you want a full reset. Can I browse and install maps?
On supported Java and Bedrock servers, the Discover Maps section lets you search pre-built maps from CurseForge and install them directly. Type a name to search, switch between card and list view, and page through results (9 maps per page). The list filters to Java or Bedrock maps automatically based on your server. Map discovery is not available on Hytale or some Bedrock software variants.
